No tricks
I am opposed to all the tricks that draw attention to themselves, showing effort to be clever writer, or simply not direct.
Precision
Words can also be precise to the point of appear flat, the important thing is that they are full of meaning: if used well, can touch all the notes.
Clarity
In a writer I very much appreciate the clarity and simplicity, but not the simple-mindedness - that's another matter entirely.
discipline
have a gift basta.Tutti not have a gift. Some writers, for example, have the gift of being able to write a story in a single blow. With this gift I was born there. That's why I work so diligently to write, working hard, trying to compensate for the talent that I did not. And it teaches me many things about me.
